Nishtar Medical University Multan Jobs 2026: Pharmacy and Health Physics Vacancies

Nishtar Medical University, Multan invites applications from male and female candidates domiciled in Punjab for contract appointments on lump-sum pay packages. The closing date for applications is 21 November 2026.

The engineering qualification requirements include registration as an engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Two years of experience in the installation or operation of a cyclotron or PET/CT at a recognized public or private institution is preferred.

Application procedure: Obtain the application form from www.nmu.edu.pk or through registered courier service. Submit the application with two attested copies of educational qualification certificates, documents and testimonials, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC and passport-size photographs. Clearly identify the post applied for on the application and envelope. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post.

Address all applications to the Vice Chancellor, Nishtar Medical University & Hospital, Multan. Applications must reach the office of the undersigned by post or by hand during office hours by 21 November 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be entertained. Incomplete documentation may result in rejection, and applications without the required identification of the post will not be considered.

Appointment terms: Recruitment will be on a lump-sum pay package under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004, as amended, and Recruitment Policy 2022, initially for three years, extendable subject to good performance. Salary will be offered at a competitive market-based rate, subject to approval by the SSB.

Only degrees issued by universities or institutes recognized by the Higher Education Commission will be accepted. Applicants with O Level or A Level qualifications must submit an equivalence certificate. Persons with disabilities must attach proof of registration with the Social Welfare Department and a disability certificate. Candidates already serving in government must apply through the proper channel.

Age and experience will be calculated as of the application closing date. Upper-age relaxation will follow the latest notification of the Punjab Government's S&GAD and Recruitment Policy 2022. Quotas will be observed under Recruitment Policy 2022. Recruitment will be strictly on merit under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004, Recruitment Policy 2022 and instructions issued by the Punjab Government from time to time.

Applicants must produce original documents at scrutiny or interview and bring all original degrees and diplomas to the interview; otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear. Submission of false documents or concealment of any fact will lead to disqualification at any stage of recruitment or during service. After scrutiny of applications, interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
