Pakistan newspaper advertising statistics
DailyAds.pk has indexed 90,214 classified advertisements from 11 Pakistani daily newspapers, published between Wednesday, 14 January 2026 and Saturday, 10 October 2026.
Counted from the archive on Wednesday, 14 October 2026. Every figure describes what DailyAds.pk has indexed, which is not everything printed in Pakistan: a newspaper, an edition or a city enters these counts only once an advertisement from it has been added.

By ad type
How the archive divides across the 5 advertisement types it holds. The site recognises more types than this; one appears here once an advertisement has been filed under it.

Cities by advertisement count
The 15 cities carrying the most advertisements, out of 2,661 in the archive. A city here is the one recorded against the advertisement: the place the notice names where it names one, and otherwise the city of the edition it ran in. So a figure counts advertisements filed under that city rather than advertisements about it, and some entries name a district or several places at once.
| City | Advertisements | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Lahore | 17,262 | 19.1% |
| Islamabad | 16,555 | 18.4% |
| Karachi | 11,590 | 12.8% |

| Rawalpindi | 2,742 | 3.0% |
| Multan | 2,627 | 2.9% |
| Quetta | 2,342 | 2.6% |
| Faisalabad | 2,250 | 2.5% |
| Gujranwala | 2,234 | 2.5% |
| Pakistan | 1,494 | 1.7% |
| Hyderabad | 1,421 | 1.6% |
| Rawalpindi/Islamabad | 1,080 | 1.2% |
| Sheikhupura | 1,023 | 1.1% |

How these figures are counted
- Only advertisements currently published on the site are counted; withdrawn ones are excluded.
- Each advertisement counts once, under the newspaper, ad type and city recorded for it. The city is the place the notice names where it names one, and otherwise the city of the edition it ran in.
- A deadline counts only where the printed last date reads as a calendar date. Many advertisements print something like “within fifteen days”, which is left as written rather than converted into a date.
- Counts are recalculated through the day; the date above is when this copy was counted.
- The same advertisement sometimes runs in more than one newspaper. Each printing is counted separately, because each is a separate clipping.
