WAPDA Tender for Retaining Wall Construction at Government Girls High School, Hamlet, Ghazi

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through the General Manager/Project Director of the Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for construction and rehabilitation of the retaining wall at Government Girls High School, Hamlet, Tehsil Ghazi, under the project's Social Development Plan (SDP). The works comprise stone masonry and plum concreting.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received World Bank financing toward the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under this contract. Procurement will follow National Competitive Bidding procedures under the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011 and revised in 2014. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders under these guidelines. Bidders should also refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 concerning the World Bank's conflict-of-interest policy.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the project office during office hours, from 08:00 to 16:00. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased in person by submitting a written application to the address below and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 through a bank draft in favour of the General Manager & PD, Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project.

Bid submission deadline: 23 November 2026 at 11:00 hours.
Public bid opening: 23 November 2026 at 11:30 hours at the project office, in the presence of bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend.
Bid security: PKR 300,000, to accompany every bid.

Bids must be delivered to the address below by the submission deadline. Electronic bidding is not permitted, and late bids will be rejected.
