The qualification must be recognized in Pakistan and duly certified by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

Each private medical and dental college has a 15% quota for overseas Pakistani and dual-national expatriate applicants, allocated purely on merit within the approved seats. If eligible candidates are unavailable or these seats remain vacant, the seats will be treated as open-merit seats, and the applicable open-merit fees and charges will apply.
Merit calculation:
| Qualification or Test | Weightage |
|---|---|
| Matriculation/SSC or equivalent | 10% |
| FSc Pre-Medical/HSSC or equivalent | 40% |
| MDCAT | 50% |
Application procedure: Apply online at https://admission.szabmu.edu.pk/private. The entire application process is online; manual or paper-based applications will not be accepted, and applicants do not need to submit a hard copy to the university. Only completed and submitted online applications will be considered. Incomplete, unsubmitted or deficient applications will not be entertained. Once submitted, an application form cannot be changed.
Applicants must first register on the portal using their name, CNIC/NICOP/passport number, email ID and password. After registration, complete the personal information, MDCAT/SAT-II/UCAT/MCAT information and academic information sections, then upload scanned copies of the required documents. Separate applications are required for the medical and dental programmes. Applicants must download and print the application processing fee challan through the admission portal, deposit the fee and upload the challan to the portal.

|---|---|---|
| MBBS | Rs. 3,000 | Non-refundable and non-adjustable |

Choose colleges in order of preference from the portal's dropdown menu. There is no limit on the number of colleges that may be selected, but at least one preference is required to complete submission. Candidates will only be considered for colleges included in their preferences. The preference order becomes final after submission and cannot subsequently be changed.

They must also upload one of the following: valid Iqama, residence permit, Green Card, Maple Card or foreign passport.
Admission conditions: Applicants who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for admission. Original documents must be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format, with a maximum file size of 512 KB per document. Applicants are solely responsible for uploading documents correctly. Failure to upload the required documents may result in rejection at any stage, and the university will not be responsible.
After obtaining a position in a merit list, selected applicants must deposit the fee within the stipulated period. Otherwise, provisional admission will be cancelled, and the seat will be offered to the next applicant on the waiting merit list or to facilitate timely completion of admissions.
The university may cancel provisional admission if a student's credentials are not verified at any stage. Submission of forged certificates, fake documents or false information at any stage will result in debarment from admission to any medical or dental institution under the rules, and the applicant's admission will be cancelled.
Separate call letters will not be issued for interviews or placement. Information will be available on the official SZABMU website, www.szabmu.edu.pk, until completion of the admission process.
