NEPRA Hearing on July–September 2026 Quarterly Tariff Adjustments for XWDISCOs

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hold a public hearing on the quarterly tariff adjustment requests filed by ex-WAPDA distribution companies (XWDISCOs) for the third quarter of calendar year 2026, covering July to September 2026.

The requests concern capacity charges, including the impact of net metering/net billing units; NGC/PMLTC charges; CPPA agency fees; variable operation and maintenance charges; the impact of incremental units; and the impact of transmission and distribution (T&D) losses on fuel charges adjustment (FCA). The hearing also covers transmission charges and market operation fees (MOF). The requests have been submitted under the notified tariff and adjustment mechanism.

All amounts below are in Rs. millions. Parentheses indicate negative amounts.

NEPRA has not yet notified the FCA for September 2026. The distribution companies have therefore included the September 2026 impact of T&D losses on FCA using the FCA requested by CPPA-G.

Under the Federal Government's policy guidelines for uniform quarterly adjustments, the third-quarter adjustment for calendar year 2026 determined by NEPRA for XWDISCOs will also apply to K-Electric consumers.
