Issuer: National Highway Authority (Finance Wing - Revenue Section), Ministry of Communications, Government of Pakistan.
Purpose: Invitation for e-Bids for the procurement of services for a data communication medium between ETTM toll plazas and weigh stations and the National Traffic Operation Centre (NTOC) at NHA Headquarters, Islamabad.
Scope: Provision of data communication links for multiple toll plazas and weigh stations (detailed list of locations with coordinates and route numbers provided in the bidding documents).
Eligibility: Firms registered for Sales Tax, on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) with a valid certificate.
Procurement Procedure & Documents: Single Stage - Two Envelopes Procedure. Bidding documents will be available on the NHA e-Bidding website (www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk) from June 13, 2016. Prospective bidders should monitor the e-bidding website for schedule updates and addenda.
Submission & Opening: E-bids must be submitted via the NHA e-bidding website on or before 2016-07-01 at 1100 hours. Technical e-bids will be opened on the same date at 1130 hours.
Additional Notes: All firms are advised to register with PPRA as manual (hard-copy) bids will be eliminated in upcoming procurements. Full location coordinates and other technical details are included in the bidding documents on the e-bidding portal.
