Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP) invites applications for the post of Registrar on a contract basis (extendable annually based on performance). The post is based in Islamabad. Applicants must submit CV and qualification/experience certificates by email as indicated below.

Eligibility / Qualifications	Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Management, Law or Policy Making; OR a Bachelor's degree in Architecture; OR a four-year Bachelor's degree in City/Urban & Regional Planning recognized and verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Must be a registered PCATP member. Minimum 15 years' administrative/management experience in Government, Semi-Government or Private sector. Applicants with higher qualifications, recognized foreign/local management training, or experience in legal processes and procedures will be preferred. Maximum age: 55 years on the closing date of application.
Key Duties & Responsibilities	Ensure entities under the authority's jurisdiction comply with relevant laws, regulations and standards. Manage registration and licensing of individuals, businesses and institutions; issue, renew, suspend or revoke licences and registrations as required. Oversee maintenance of records related to registrations, licences and enforcement actions; ensure transparency and data integrity in registry operations. Assist in development and implementation of regulatory policies and procedures; support internal operations and legal framework. Serve as liaison with regulatory authorities, stakeholders and government bodies; coordinate enforcement actions and document decisions. Prepare reports for government or oversight bodies; manage budgets, procurements and other resources related to the registrar's functions.
