The Directorate General, Excise & Taxation Wing, Sindh (Karachi) has cancelled the Open Public Auction of obsolete/discontinued standard yellow vehicle number plates. The auction, originally scheduled for Friday, 07 August 2026 at 15:30, is cancelled with immediate effect on administrative grounds. Earnest money submitted by bidders will be returned as per rules. The Department reserves the right to reschedule the auction and will publish a fresh public notice if required.
