Final Notice to Defaulting Leaseholders — Gadoon Economic Zone (KPEZDMC)

Issuer: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) — Zone Manager, Gadoon Economic Zone.

Purpose: Final public notice to leaseholders/allottees of industrial plots in Gadoon Economic Zone who have failed to comply with lease deed terms, policies, rules and regulations. Noted defaults include failure to commence construction within prescribed period; construction of only boundary walls or insignificant structures without establishing the approved industrial unit; keeping units closed, non-operational or abandoned for extended periods (more than seven years); non-payment of outstanding dues payable to KPEZDMC; and unauthorized or non-conforming use of allotted plots.

Required action by defaulting leaseholders: appear before the Zone Manager, KPEZDMC, Gadoon Economic Zone, within thirty (30) days from the date of publication to regularize defaults by commencing/completing construction, operationalizing industrial units, clearing all outstanding dues, and discontinuing unauthorized use. Failure to comply within the stipulated period may result in cancellation of the lease, forfeiture of amounts deposited with KPEZDMC in accordance with the Lease Deed and applicable policies, recovery of outstanding dues as arrears of land revenue, and other legal or administrative action. The Authority will not be responsible for repayment of outstanding loans obtained by lessees in case of lease cancellation.
