Issuer: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). MSF seeks a qualified and motivated Nurse Midwife (position open to females only). Candidates from Khyber District are encouraged to apply.

| Main Responsibilities | Provide nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients according to doctors' prescriptions and protocols; provide obstetrical care to pregnant women and their babies during follow-up, delivery and immediate postpartum according to MSF obstetrical and reproductive health protocols; provide universal hygiene standards and newborn care; support post-delivery care under supervision of a specialist doctor to ensure health conditions and avoid post-delivery complications. |
| Education | Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery with valid PNC registration is essential. Specialization in midwifery and neonatology desirable. |
| Experience | At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics, neonatal or maternity as a nurse or midwife is desirable. Previous experience in low-resource settings, preferably with an NGO, is an advantage. |
| Languages & Competencies | English, Pashto and Urdu are essential. Competencies: Teamwork and cooperation, behavioural flexibility, commitment to MSF principles. |
