Auction: Canteen Contract at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jaranwala (FY 2026–2027)

Medical Superintendent, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Jaranwala invites bids from eligible firms/contractors for the auction of the hospital canteen contract for the Financial Year 2026–2027. Bidders must comply with Government of Punjab rules, PPRA rules and departmental policies.

Eligibility & Mandatory Documents

• Original CNIC (holder)
• Active FBR registration and active NTN
• Attested affidavit on PKR 300 stamp paper stating bidder is not blacklisted and has no outstanding government dues
• Minimum three (03) years' documented experience operating a canteen in a Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous Public Sector Organization
• Valid Punjab Food Authority Food Business License
• CDR/Bank Draft PKR 100,000 in favour of Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital, Jaranwala

Important Terms

• Successful bidder must deposit applicable government taxes (Income Tax, Punjab Sales Tax, and other levies) within three working days of award or as prescribed by government; such taxes are in addition to the accepted bid amount.
• Hospital will provide electricity only for one refrigerator, one fan and four light points; additional electrical appliances require prior written approval of the Medical Superintendent.
• Bidder must ensure continuous availability of fresh, hygienic, good-quality food and must observe Punjab Food Authority and Health Department standards.
• Sale, storage or display of expired, substandard, adulterated or unhygienic food is strictly prohibited; violations may lead to contract termination, forfeiture of security deposit and legal action.
• Contractor shall maintain cleanliness, proper waste disposal and sanitation; subletting or transfer of contract without prior written approval is prohibited.
• The competent authority reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids, postpone or cancel the auction without assigning reasons, in accordance with PPRA rules and government policy.

How to Apply

Submit required documents, non-refundable fee and CDR/Bank Draft to the Office of the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital, Jaranwala before the auction. Bidders must complete the bidder undertaking form (name, CNIC, NTN, Punjab Food Authority license number, CDR details, contact details, signature and thumb impression).
