Issuer: Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Government of Punjab.
Purpose: Safety advisory and mandatory directions for all owners, builders, consultants, architects, structural engineers and resident engineers for construction sites during the approaching monsoon season. Excavation work is prohibited until 15 August.

| Excavation Restriction | Excavation is prohibited up to 15 August. |
| Liability | Any damage, loss or accident caused due to inadequate safety measures, improper shoring or negligence shall be the sole responsibility of the owner, builder, consultant and supervising engineers. |
| Enforcement / Legal Actions | In case of non-compliance, LDA reserves the right to initiate actions including registration of FIR, sealing of property, cancellation of building plan and imposition of heavy fines. |
