Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications for the position of HR Consultant (individual) on a fixed-term contract basis for one year at its Head Office in Islamabad.

| Minimum Qualification | MBA or Master’s degree in related field from an HEC-recognized or international institution |
| Experience | Approximately 20 years post-qualification relevant experience in strategic HR operations in large-scale industrial units in Pakistan or abroad. Minimum 5–8 years in a functional head/leadership role in Public Sector Organizations/SOEs of Pakistan with a minimum headcount of ~2,000 employees. Experience managing CBA and labour unions, compensation framework implementation, talent management systems, succession planning and HR governance is required. Preference to candidates from the mining/energy sector. Cross-functional experience in administration, supply chain or industrial relations is desirable. |

Key Responsibilities (summary): support development and execution of PMDC’s human resources strategy; align HR initiatives with corporate objectives; lead organizational restructuring, workforce optimization and HR transformation; support change management and implementation of HR policies, systems and processes; advise on labour relations and statutory compliance; design compensation, benefits and performance management frameworks; build HR capacity through training and development; develop SOPs and assist with governance, HR policies and public sector regulatory frameworks.
Other Important Information: Posting will be at PMDC HQ, Islamabad (working Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). PMDC is an equal opportunity employer and females are encouraged to apply.
