Issuer: Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA). This public notice informs citizens that the collection of professional, trades, callings and employment tax has been assigned to the Balochistan Revenue Authority under the Balochistan Professions, Trades, Callings and Employment Tax Act, 2026. The authority to collect these taxes is effective from 1 July 2026.
All professionals, traders and business owners are requested to complete registration and remit taxes according to the prescribed procedure and schedule. Previously these taxes were collected under various laws by Excise & Taxation and Local Government departments; collection responsibility has now been transferred to BRA.
