Tender: Local Purchase of Medicines & Surgical Items for Prime Minister Sehat Sahulat Program — PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit

Office of the Medical Superintendent, PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit invites sealed tenders from well-reputed, experienced, licensed & registered firms, distributors, dealers, manufacturers, pharmacies and service providers for local purchase of medicines and surgical items for the Prime Minister Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) for FY 2026-27.

Pre-bid Meeting: 2026-09-03 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Additional Medical Superintendent, PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit.

Eligibility & Submission Requirements:

• Only firms that have purchased the bidding documents are eligible to participate. Proof of purchase (copy of treasury challan) must be provided at the time of submission.
• Quotations must be submitted on the firm’s original letterhead, duly signed and stamped.
• Only registered firms holding valid licences and registrations may participate.
• Bid security (CDR) from a scheduled bank must accompany the bid as specified.
• Bidders must submit an original and valid affidavit regarding non-blacklisting and absence of litigation.

Important Terms:

• Tenders received after the stipulated date and time will not be entertained.
• If the advertised opening date is declared a public holiday, the tender will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.
• Rates must be computerised and free from cutting, overwriting, or erasing.
• The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable procurement rules.
• The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Security equal to 10% of the annual estimated contract value within the prescribed period after issuance of the Letter of Acceptance (in the form of CDR).
• Tender documents containing specific terms and conditions are available from the office of the Medical Superintendent during duty hours on written request with the treasury challan for the tender document fee as per Finance Act directives 2025-26.
• The successful bidder shall establish and maintain a medicine dispensing facility within PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit or at an easily accessible point near the hospital premises.
