ePADS Bidding: Virus-Free Seed Potato Production Using Tissue Culture (Upper Kurram & Orakzai)

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Communication & Works Department (Upper Kurram) invites online electronic bids through the ePADS (eprocure.gkp.pk) single-stage single-envelope bidding system for civil works related to virus-free seed potato production using tissue culture technology at higher altitudes of Kurram and Orakzai. Bid Solicitation Documents (BSD) and instructions are available for download from the EPAD portal or can be obtained from the office on working days prior to submission.

Important instructions & eligibility

- Bidders must submit electronic bids via the EPAD portal (eprocure.gkp.pk). Paper bids will not be accepted. BSD and bidder instructions are available on EPAD or from the office before the submission date.

- As per KPPRA notification (ref. cited in notice), electronic bid security must be submitted with the bid.

- Contractors quoting less than 10% below Engineer's Estimate shall submit bid security equal to 2% of the Engineer's Estimate. Contractors quoting more than 10% but up to 20% below the Engineer's Estimate shall submit 2% bid security or additional security as required by the Engineer to address the low bid. Bids quoting more than 20% below the estimate will require additional scrutiny and may be rejected if found non-responsive.

- The Procuring Entity reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, or to cancel the bidding process as per rules and to withhold acceptance of any bid without assigning reasons.
