Issuer: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), a public sector utility under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division). Initial appointments are on a three-year term. Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals meeting the stated fit-and-proper criteria.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the electric power sector is an asset. High-level communication and written skills.	57 years
Chief Legal Officer	1	LLB / LLM / Barrister-at-Law (16-year law degree) with post-qualification relevant experience. Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Advocate of the High Court (relevant Bar Council certificates/permissions as required). Strong background in corporate, commercial, advisory law and dispute resolution, preferably related to the power sector. Experience with regulatory framework, electricity laws, public utilities, and Government/Regulatory Authorities; excellent drafting and communication skills.	57 years

Other conditions: Candidates must satisfy Fit & Proper Criteria under the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023 and be Pakistani citizens. Private-sector candidates and variations in experience/age are subject to the company’s policy. Government servants must apply through proper channel and will be required to resign if selected.
