Legal Advisor & Assistant Legal Advisor (3-year Retainer) — J&K State Property, Lahore/Rawalpindi

Issuer: Office of the Administrator, J&K State Property in Pakistan (Ministry of Kashmir Affairs & GB), 10-A Kashmir Road, Lahore.

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced advocates or law firms for appointment on a three-year retainership basis (subject to satisfactory performance) for legal advisory and litigation work related to property, tenancy, land management and estate administration.

Scope of work: Represent and defend J&K State Property in Pakistan before courts and tribunals; provide legal opinions; prepare pleadings; and assist in matters relating to property, tenancy, land management and estate administration.

Eligibility and requirements:

• Valid license to practice: Supreme Court of Pakistan (for Legal Advisor) or High Court license (for Assistant Legal Advisor).
• Sufficient experience in civil litigation, particularly in property, estate, tenancy and land revenue matters.
• LL.B or LL.M qualification.
• Candidates may be independent practitioners or serving as Senior Partner/Owner of a law firm.
• Include complete particulars: date of enrollment, courts of practice, number and nature of important cases handled, and professional experience.
• Candidates must possess good professional standing and must not have any criminal record or history of professional misconduct.
