Central Power Generation Company Limited (CPGCL) invites applications for the position of Company Secretary (CS) based at the Company’s Head Office in Guddu, District Kashmore (Sindh). The role reports to the Board of Directors and requires handling corporate governance, Board procedures, minute-taking and ensuring compliance with statutory and company rules.

Key Responsibilities	Report to the Board of Directors and ensure confidentiality of Board matters. Ensure Board procedures and corporate governance rules are followed. Prepare and record Board minutes, directions and decisions. Advise on company law, governance and compliance.
Essential Qualifications	At least one of the following: membership of a recognized body of Professional Accountants; or membership of a recognized body of Corporate/Chartered Secretaries; or a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or Law from a HEC-recognized university.
Experience	Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years’ demonstrated experience serving as Company Secretary in a reputable public/private sector organisation or State‑Owned Enterprise (SOE) or a reputable national/multinational organisation. Experience in Power/Energy/Generation sector preferred. Must meet the 'Fit and Proper Criteria' under Schedule‑IV of the State‑Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023.
Age	Maximum age 55 years on the closing date of applications.
Tenure & Remuneration	Initial contract for one (01) year, extendable at the Board’s discretion. Negotiable market-based remuneration and fringe benefits.
Application Instructions	Submit a detailed CV with two work and two personal references, attested copies of educational and experience certificates, two recent photographs and a copy of CNIC. Applications must be accompanied by a declaration on non‑judicial stamp paper (as per Schedule II of State‑Owned Enterprises C‑level Appointments Guidelines, 2024) verified by an Oath Commissioner. Documents should reach the office within fifteen (15) days from the date of the advertisement. Serving government employees should apply through proper channel. Only shortlisted candidates will be called; no TA/DA admissible.
