National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the position of Officer – RAC (Risk, Audit & Compliance) based in Karachi. The role supports Credit & Investment Banking and will report to the Unit Head – RAC (Risk, Audit & Compliance). Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis.

Professional qualifications (CA / ACCA / ICMA) or relevant certifications (CIA / FRM / ACAMS) or IBP/Associate/ Fellowship preferred. | Minimum 02 years of experience in banking and/or financial services and/or audit firm or corporate sector, with at least 01 year in Audit and/or Compliance / Risk Management or related function. Practical exposure in regulatory and audit observations, operational risk, and risk reporting preferred. | Karachi | Contractual (three years with possible renewal) |
Key skills & requirements: knowledge of risk, audit and compliance frameworks in banking; ability to analyze regulatory and audit observations, identify root causes and propose remediation; good stakeholder management; strong drafting and reporting skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to prepare reasoned responses to regulators and auditors.
Main responsibilities (summary): analyze regulatory observations and audit findings; propose remediation and corrective actions; assess internal and external audit observations; support operational risk and loss data analysis; strengthen risk and control self-assessment processes; prepare MIS, analytical briefs and recommendations for management; assist Unit Heads and Relationship Managers in remedying control weaknesses and monitoring remedial actions.
Assessment & selection: Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the basic eligibility criteria will be called for a written test and/or panel interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
