Issuer: Pakistan Railways, CSF/Directorate, Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.
Pakistan Railways invites sealed e-bids through EPADS v2.0 from manufacturers, suppliers and contractors registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax departments for supply of goods as per bidding documents. Open competitive bidding will be used adopting Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Eligibility & requirements: Bidders must be registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax departments and must register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. Manual submission of bids will not be entertained.
Bid security: Each bid must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the bidding documents. Acceptable forms include pay order, call deposit or bank guarantee.
Documents & submission: E-bidding documents, specifications, terms and conditions are available on the e-pak Acquisition System (EPADS) v2.0. E-bids must be prepared and submitted through EPADS v2.0; e-bids will be opened on the EPADS platform on the specified opening date. A tutorial for vendor registration is available on YouTube.
Grievance mechanism: In terms of Rule 48 of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004 a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is notified for this procurement; the notification copy is available on the procuring agency's website and on the authority website at www.ppra.org.pk.
