Punjab Highways Department Tender — Rehabilitation/Improvement of Metalled Road (Vehari)

Punjab Highways Department invites bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for highway works. Eligible engineering firms/contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and registered on Punjab e-Procurement may participate subject to the terms and conditions below.

Important tender conditions: bidders/firms must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement portal (https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk). Bid Security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted only via digital online payment through the Punjab e-Procurement System (link with BOP) in favour of the Executive Engineer, Highways Division, Vehari. Physical bid securities (CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, etc.) will not be accepted. As per PPRA Rule 2014, the lowest evaluated bidder will furnish Performance Security/Guarantee equal to 10% of the contract amount. Bidders must quote rates against each item; rates quoted in percentage above/below estimated cost will be evaluated as per the advertised conditions. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted manually and accordingly bids will be evaluated.

Submission and opening: Bids shall be uploaded and submitted electronically via the Punjab e-Procurement System. Contractors may attend the bid opening at the Office of the Commissioner Multan Division, Multan on the opening date and time stated below when quoted rates of successful bidders will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
