Issuer: Privatisation Commission, Government of Pakistan. Purpose: Invitation for technical and financial proposals for hiring a Financial Advisor for Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL). The Request for Proposal (RFP) is available on the Privatisation Commission website.
This notice provides a formal clarification to the RFP (Appendix A) regarding the extent of Government of Pakistan (GoP) shareholding referenced in the Terms of Reference. The original wording on Appendix A is to be replaced as follows:
Substitution: Where the RFP previously stated "upto Seventy-five percent (75%) of its entire shareholding in PRCL" (Section 1, Terms of Reference, page 38) and "upto Seventy-five percent (75%) of GoP shareholding in PRCL" (Section 3, Terms of Reference, page 40), it shall be substituted with the words: "upto 51% of GoP's direct shareholding and GoP : 24.41% indirect shareholding in PRCL."
