Assistant Director (Prosecution & Civil Litigation) – SECP Islamabad (Contract)

Issuer: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The SECP invites applications for one contractual Islamabad-based position of Assistant Director in the Prosecution and Civil Litigation Department.

Qualification & Eligibility:

- LL.B or LL.M from an HEC-recognized university.

- Must be enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court for at least 1 year with active practice.

- Preference for candidates who have completed Bar at Law after LL.B. or hold an LL.M and have proven experience in regulatory bodies, companies, and corporate litigation & practice.

Experience & Age:

- Minimum 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in corporate-related litigation and prosecution, including at least 1 year as an Advocate of the High Court.

- Maximum age: 35 years as on closing date. Candidates with at least 3 years' work experience with a regulator will be given 5 years' age relaxation.

Appointment & Selection:

- Appointment on a contractual basis for three (3) years, extendable based on organizational need and performance. Regularization may be considered after three years subject to criteria.

- Selection will be based on a multi-stage evaluation process; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
