National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager Credit (OG-I) to join its Risk Management function. The role reports to the Regional Executive – Credit / Hub Head – Credit Approvals (Retail & Program Lending) and is based in Rawalpindi.

| Minimum Qualification | Graduation from an HEC-recognized university/college/institute. Master's or relevant certifications preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 4 years of banking experience with at least 2 years in Credit Processing and/or SME/Consumer/Agri lending and/or SBP schemes or product-program based lending in a commercial bank. Experience in large banks preferred. |
| Key Skills & Knowledge | Sound knowledge of Retail, SME and Agri financing; awareness of SBP prudential regulations; MS Office proficiency; analytical & financial analysis skills. |
| Main Duties / Responsibilities | Analyze and process credit proposals; assess borrowers' financial health (horizontal/vertical analysis); identify gaps and risks; update credit request status; prepare MIS for credit approvals; ensure facilities comply with internal and SBP regulations; review credit information reports (eCIB/private bureaus); evaluate collateral and security arrangements; monitor portfolio quality (delinquencies, covenants, limits); coordinate with business, CAD and legal for pre/post disbursement issues; support renewals and timely reviews of credit facilities. |
| Assessment / Interview | Only shortlisted candidates meeting eligibility criteria will be invited for test and/or panel interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview. |
| Employment Type | Contractual for three years (renewable at management discretion). Selected candidates will receive a compensation package and benefits as per Bank policy. |
