Issuer: National Tariff Commission (Government of Pakistan). Purpose: Conclusion of sunset review of anti‑dumping duties on imports of phthalic anhydride originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China, Chinese Taipei, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea.
Summary of determination: Following a sunset review initiated on 2025-05-23, the Commission found likelihood of continuation or recurrence of injury and has continued definitive anti‑dumping duties for a further five (05) years with effect from 2026-06-05. The period of review covered January 01, 2023 to December 31, 2023. Phthalic anhydride is used in the production of plasticizers, dyes, and other chemical products.
Duties to be levied on imports of the product under review are as follows:
