The Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites Pakistani researchers and scholars to submit applications for the HEC Research Awards 2026-27. The Awards recognize excellence in research, contributions to intellectual development and promotion of high-impact publications.

Key eligibility and publication requirements
- The applicant/publication must not have received the same award previously.
- Best Researcher: the applicant must have been a resident of Pakistan for at least three years (as stated in the notice).
- Best Young Researcher: the applicant must have been of Pakistan for at least one year (as stated in the notice).
- Publication requirements (Best Publication): the work must be a scholarly book or journal article and must be authored by no more than three authors.
