MEPCO Tender: Procurement of Tyre & Tube for Vehicles with Installation — Kot Addu (Closing 2026-10-22)

Issuer: Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO). Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Kot Addu.

MEPCO invites sealed national competitive bids from reputable contractors with valid and active GST and NTN for procurement of tyre and tube for vehicles with installation for MEPCO Division Kot Addu. Tender documents are available for purchase and submission as described below.

How to obtain and submit:

- Tender documents available from 2026-10-20 from the Office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Kot Addu on payment of Rs. 1,000 between 08:30 AM and 04:30 PM.

- Tenders will be received in the Office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Layyah on 2026-10-22 up to 12:00 PM and will be opened the same day at 12:30 PM in the presence of bidders or authorized representatives with power of attorney.

Bid securities and performance guarantees:

- Contractors shall attach with the BOQ an earnest money of 3% of the bid in the shape of a call deposit issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan before issuance of each tender book (fresh CDR without limit of validity).

- The contractor must submit 5% of the total bid as performance security in the shape of CDR within 15 days before approval of rates. Failure to submit the 5% performance security within 15 days may result in cancellation of the tender and forfeiture of the 3% earnest money; the defaulting firm/contractor may be blacklisted from Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Division Kot Addu for one year.

- The 5% security will be returned upon successful completion of works; otherwise security and earnest money will be forfeited.

Other conditions:

• Time period of rates shall remain one year from the date of agreement or issuance of award letter.
• All proceedings of the tender will follow PPRArules.
• Contractors must attach all required documents with the tender; incomplete submissions will be cancelled by the tender opening committee.
• Income tax returns for the last two years must be included. All contractors must be registered with PPRA.
• Conditional tenders will not be accepted. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel all or part of the bid at any stage.
