PMDC Vacancy: Marketing / Export Promotion Officer – Salt Business

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) invites applications on an open contract basis for the post of Marketing / Export Promotion Officer – Salt Business at its Head Office in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers and institutional buyers.
2. Identify and develop new domestic and international markets using market intelligence, data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate qualified sales leads.
3. Promote PMDC salt products through digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings and other promotional channels.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure follow-up on enquiries and leads.
5. Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, samples and other marketing materials in coordination with relevant departments.
6. Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added and private-label salt products in local and export markets.
7. Assist in export-related activities including documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms and commercial requirements.
8. Support achievement of local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans; perform other duties related to sales, marketing, export promotion and business development as assigned.
