NUMS Postgraduate Admissions Spring 2027 — PhD, MPhil, MS, MSc, Diplomas & Certifications

National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) invites applications for postgraduate programs for Spring 2027 at its affiliated institutes. Available program types include PhD, MPhil, MS, MSc, Diploma, Master of Science in Nursing (female only) and professional certification courses in radiology and imaging.

Key programs (selection shown where specified): PhD (Biochemistry, Molecular Medicine, Pharmacology, Public Health & Dental Materials and others); MPhil (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Microbiology, Haematology, Oral & Chemical Pathology and related subjects); MS Clinical Psychology; MSc Cardiac Anaesthesia; Diploma in Cardiology; MHPE (Masters in Health Professions Education); MSN (Master of Science in Nursing, female only); Clinical Certification in Interventional Radiology; Clinical Certification in Hybrid Imaging (PET-CT Scan).

How to apply: Complete the online application form available at the NUMS website (www.numspak.edu.pk). Application processing fee must be deposited at the nearest Habib Bank Ltd branch (countrywide) as instructed on the website. Applicants will receive timing and instructions for the NUMS entry test by email after registration.

Important notes: Valid GAT (HEC)/General result with a minimum 50% cumulative score is mandatory for admission to MPhil Basic Sciences at specified institutes. Only short‑listed candidates will be called for interviews. Employees of government/semi‑government organisations must apply through their departments and submit NOC from their department. Application processing fee is non‑refundable and non‑transferable. 5% of seats are reserved for children of Overseas Pakistanis in compliance with government policy. Foreign qualifications must be supported by an equivalence certificate issued by HEC. All admissions are through the online admission portal only; hard copies are not acceptable.
