Ministry of National Food Security & Research (Government of Pakistan) invites applications for the post of Deputy Project Coordinator (PPS-09) on a contract basis for the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) under the project titled "National Program for Enhancing the Command Area in Barani Areas of Pakistan". Agricultural Engineering / Water Resources, MA Economics or MBA Finance. - Minimum 12 years' experience in public/private sector dealing with water and agriculture; including 5 years' experience managing large-scale public sector development projects related to water and agriculture. - Knowledge of preparation, financing, procurement and implementation of public sector development projects (PC-I, PC-II), monitoring & evaluation, strong communication, leadership and basic IT skills. | - Act as Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) for the federal government project. - Work under overall supervision of the Ministry of National Food Security & Research and the Project Director/PMU. - Assist Ministry on administrative and financial matters, timely transfer of matching federal grants to participating agencies, liaise with provincial PMUs, compile periodic project monitoring and progress reports, prepare working papers for FSC/FFC and perform other duties as assigned. | 01 |
