WOS Consultancy is seeking a Technical Professional Consultant to lead the review and revision of the Balochistan Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Policy 2026–2031. This short-term consultancy will provide technical leadership for policy review, stakeholder consultation, drafting updated policy text and supporting documents, and ensuring alignment with climate resilience and disaster risk reduction best practices.

| Required Education | Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Disaster Risk Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field |
| Required Experience | Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in disaster risk management, disaster risk reduction, climate resilience, humanitarian or development programming, policy development, institutional strengthening or related fields. Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing or revising national, provincial or sectoral policies, strategies, plans or frameworks related to DRM; experience with stakeholder consultations, multi-sectoral coordination, and practical implementation and monitoring frameworks. |
| Language | Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of Urdu and/or local languages spoken in Balochistan is an advantage. |
