Issuer: Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan.
Purpose: A stakeholders' consultative workshop on digitization of the power distribution sector through Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) deployment. The workshop will discuss the Government of Pakistan’s AMI priorities under the National Electricity Policy and National Electricity Plan, the draft “Framework Guidelines for Deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure through Public‑Private Partnerships, 2026,” and related technical, commercial and procurement aspects.
Scope & participants: Targeted participants include distribution companies (DISCOs), AMI system vendors and integrators, manufacturers, developers, financiers, international development partners and other relevant stakeholders across the power distribution value chain. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is engaged as Transaction Advisor.
Registration & participation: Interested parties are asked to register in advance by sending their company profile and contact details of authorised representatives to PPIB via email at [email protected]. Registered participants will receive the joining link for the online consultative session.
