The Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), invites stakeholders to a consultative workshop on the digitization of the power distribution sector through Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) field deployment. The initiative targets AMI rollout in five DISCOs and seeks stakeholder feedback on the draft "Framework Guidelines for Deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure through Public‑Private Partnerships, 2026." International Finance Corporation (IFC) is engaged as transaction adviser.
