| Preferred Certifications | IBM security product certification or equivalent; information security certifications (examples cited). |
| Key Responsibilities | Installation, configuration and patching of IBM Guardium appliances and agents; database activity monitoring and protection; data discovery and classification; monitoring and auditing of database and privileged-user activity; analytics of database logs; troubleshooting; scripting and automation for reporting; ensuring backups, disaster recovery and data protection; implementing cybersecurity controls for on-premises and cloud databases. |
