State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Shariah Advisor for its Window Takaful operations (Tayyab Takaful). Appointment will be on contract for an initial period of three (3) years, extendable by mutual consent. Selection is subject to SECP clearance.

| Minimum Qualifications | Either Shahadat-ul-Alamiyah (Dars-e-Nizami) from a recognized Board of Madaris with at least 70% marks plus a Bachelor's degree recognized by HEC (minimum 2nd class); OR a Post‑Graduate degree in Kulliyatush Shariah/Kuliyyah Usuluddin, LL.M (Shariah), MS Shariah or equivalent with minimum GPA 2.5 from an HEC-recognized institution. |
| Work Experience | One of the following: (a) At least 4 years issuing Shariah rulings in fiqh (preferably Fiqh‑ul‑Muamalat) including Takhasus‑fil‑Ifta; OR (b) At least 5 years in teaching, research or training in Islamic financial services; OR (c) At least 5 years in relevant departments of an institution offering Islamic financial services; OR (d) At least 5 years in relevant departments of banking, securities, or insurance/Takaful regulator. Combination of eligible experience is acceptable. Preference for candidates with direct Shariah Advisor experience for Pension Fund Managers, Dedicated Family Takaful or Window Takaful. |
| Integrity & Soundness | Candidate must not have been associated with illegal activity related to Insurance/Takaful/Fund Management or banking, and must not be in default of dues to any financial institution or in tax payment. |
| Compensation | An attractive compensation package will be offered; appointment subject to SECP clearance. |
