National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) invites applications for the position of Head of Internal Audit to lead and strengthen the Authority’s internal audit, risk and compliance functions. The role requires a senior audit professional with strong governance experience, ability to deliver risk-based audit programs, and capability to report to management and audit committee.

Experience in large public sector, corporate, financial or technology-driven organisations. Professional certifications such as CISA or CIA preferred. Familiarity with IPPF, internal auditing standards, COSO, ERM, and public procurement rules (PPRA). | Islamabad |
Key responsibilities: Develop and execute a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with international and national standards; lead financial, operational, IT, forensic, performance and compliance audits across NADRA offices; ensure quality, accuracy and objectivity of audit findings; verify compliance with government rules and PPRA; prepare high-quality audit reports for Management and the Audit Committee; evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements; build audit capability in IT audit, forensics and data analytics; maintain independence of the audit function and coordinate with external auditors, regulators and oversight bodies.
