State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan invites applications for a Shariah Advisor for its Window Takaful operations (Tayyab Takaful). The appointment is on an initial three-year contract, extendable by mutual consent, and subject to clearance from SECP.

Eligibility — Qualifications

| a) | Shahadat-ul-Aalamiyyah (Dars-e-Nizami) from a recognized Board of Madaris with minimum 70% marks AND a bachelor’s degree recognized by HEC with minimum 2nd class. |
| b) | Postgraduate degree in Kulyatush Shariah / Kulyah ul Uloomiddin, LL.M (Shariah), MS Shariah or equivalent with minimum GPA 2.5 from an HEC-recognized institution. |
Required Work Experience

| Shariah rulings | At least 4 years of experience issuing Shariah rulings in fiqh, preferably fiqh‑ul‑muamalat, including Takaful/Islamic finance. |
| Teaching / Research / Training | At least 5 years’ experience in teaching, research, or training in Islamic financial services. |
| Industry experience | At least 5 years’ experience in relevant departments of an institution offering Islamic financial services, or in banking/securities/insurance/Takaful regulator. |
| Combination | A combination of eligible experience (e.g., 2 years teaching + 3 years industry) is acceptable. Preference to candidates with direct Shariah Advisor experience for Pension Fund Manager, Dedicated Family Takaful, or Window Takaful. |
Other Requirements & Benefits
Candidates must demonstrate integrity and soundness, with no involvement in illegal activity related to insurance, Takaful, fund management or banking, and no defaults in tax payment. An attractive compensation package will be offered.
