The National Tariff Commission (Government of Pakistan) issued a preliminary determination and imposed provisional anti‑dumping duties on dumped imports of ibuprofen originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China and the United States of America. The investigation was initiated on July 25, 2026 following an application filed by M/s. Zenith Chemical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Lahore.
Investigated product: Ibuprofen (a non‑steroidal anti‑inflammatory drug, NSAID), used for treatment of symptoms associated with arthritis, fever, and as an analgesic.

A final determination will be made within 180 days of publication.
