Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC), Islamabad invites applications for vacancies for a newly established R&D lab & collaboration center located in Islamabad. Interested candidates with relevant profiles are requested to apply by email.

Senior Manager Automation & Control	1	Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university (Engineering background preferred)	Minimum 9 years	Lead automation, instrumentation and control engineering for industrial plants & projects. Design, program and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, VFDs and control systems. Manage instrumentation selection, installation, calibration, testing and commissioning. Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, contractors and vendors; ensure compliance with industry standards.
Senior CAD Designer	1	DAE Mechanical or BSc Technology from a recognized university	Minimum 8 years	Develop and review 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical components, assemblies and equipment. Ensure designs meet GD&T, dimensional, material, tolerance and manufacturability standards; maintain BOMs and revisions. Support manufacturing, assembly, testing and vendor coordination.
Process Engineer	1	Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university (Chemical/Process Engineering background preferred)	Minimum 6 years	Lead plant process design, optimization, equipment selection and sizing. Develop process flow diagrams, PFDs, P&IDs, H&MB, process simulations and datasheets. Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO and industry standards; coordinate with engineering teams and vendors.
Mechanical Design Engineer	1	Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university; PEC-registered Engineer shall be preferred	Minimum 4 years	Develop mechanical designs and 3D CAD models for equipment, machinery and components. Apply engineering standards, GD&T, tolerances, material selection and manufacturing requirements. Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings and documentation; support fabrication, testing and commissioning.
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer	1	Minimum Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university; PEC-registered Mechanical Engineer shall be preferred	Minimum 15 years	Lead mechanical design for heavy equipment and machinery; create and review design calculations and specifications. Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO and project standards; coordinate with clients, vendors and contractors. Oversee mechanical team to ensure quality of deliverables.
