Executive Engineer (OP), Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO), Division Layyah invites sealed tenders from contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) — having field specialization EE-04, EE-05 or CE-10 and PEC renewal for 2026-27 — for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of HT and LT spun poles.
Key instructions and eligibility:
- Contractors must produce original documents and attested copies including CNIC of the Contractor / Managing Partner / Director.
- Tenders to be submitted to the office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Layyah on 2026-11-10 up to 13:30 hrs; bids will be opened the same day at 14:00 hrs as per PPRA rules in presence of authorized representatives.
- Bidders must attach earnest money in the form of call deposit (fresh CDR) issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan.
- Rates quoted below 20% of analyzed/previous approved rates require submission of 5% of total bid as performance security (CDR) within 15 days.
- Tender documents available from 2026-11-09 from the Office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Division Layyah (non-refundable fee Rs. 2,000). Forms issued 08:30–14:30 (office hours) on sale dates; electronic bids not permitted.
- Contractors must be registered with PRA and submit income tax returns for the last 2 years. Previously executed similar works in WAPDA/NTDC/DISCOs or government/semi-government organizations are required.
