National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) invites applications for senior positions including Director (Human Resource), Managing Editor, Assistant Director (Administration) and Audit Officer. | Director (Human Resource) | Master's in Business Administration / Management from an HEC-recognized university (higher qualification preferred) | 15–17 years relevant experience including 10 years in university HR, recruitment and management; experience in medical university/academic institution preferred; experience in formulation/implementation of HR policies; familiar with HEC/PM&DC/PNC rules; strong verbal and written communication skills. |
| Managing Editor | PhD / MPhil (preferably Community Medicine) with basic MBBS degree from HEC-recognized university (higher qualification preferred) | 10–15 years relevant experience including 5–7 years in academic management; experience as Managing Editor of peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal preferred; minimum 10–15 publications in peer-reviewed national/international journals; experience as reviewer for journals and research grant applications. |
| Assistant Director (Administration) | Master's / Bachelor's or equivalent in Management/Administration from HEC-recognized university (higher qualification preferred). Must be computer savvy. | Minimum 7 years post-qualification relevant experience including 5 years in general administration, management, transportation, stores & office administration in reputable public/private organizations; university/academic administration experience preferred; conversant with rules and regulations including PPRA; strong verbal and written communication skills. |
| Audit Officer | Master's / Bachelor's or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Commerce from HEC-recognized university (higher qualification preferred). Must be computer savvy. | 4–5 years relevant experience including 2–3 years in audit & taxation, financial management and inspections in public/private sector at national or international level. |
