Banking Court No. V, Karachi, before Judge Dr. Hatim Aziz Solangi, has issued summons in Suit No. 172 of 2026, United Bank Limited versus Huma Sahar, for recovery of Rs. 529,244.67, together with costs of the suit and cost of funds under Section 9 of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, XLVI of 2001.

The defendant is summoned to appear before the court on December 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. and apply for leave to defend the suit within 30 days of service of the summons. In default, the plaintiff will be entitled, after the expiry of that period, to obtain a decree with costs and such markup or interest as the court may order.
