The Office of the District Health Officer, District Umerkot, invites applications from candidates holding Umerkot district domicile for initial recruitment to BPS-01 to BPS-04 posts in the Health Department, District Umerkot, reflected in the Budget Book for Financial Year 2026-27. Applications must reach the District Health Office Umerkot by 16 November 2026.
Recruitment is being undertaken in compliance with the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court, Mirpurkhas order dated 19 May 2026 in C.P. Nos. D-324 of 2026, D-397 of 2026, D-446 of 2026 and D-447 of 2026, and pursuant to the Cabinet decision dated 1 December 2025, communicated by the Section Officer-V, SGA&CD, Government of Sindh, Karachi, through letter No. SOV(SGA&CD)8-27/2019 (Pt-IV) (Volume), dated 3 December 2025.

Application Procedure
Submit an application in the prescribed format to the District Health Office Umerkot, together with two passport-size photographs and attested copies of academic qualification certificates, CNIC, domicile, PRC, and driving licence and experience certificate where required. Applications may be submitted to the office of the District Health Officer during office hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The closing date is 16 November 2026. Applications received after this date will not be accepted or entertained. Applicants already in government service must apply through their respective departments through the proper channel.
Terms and Conditions
Quotas will be observed under Government of Sindh rules and policy, including 5% for differently abled persons, 15% for women, 5% for minorities and 0.5% for transgender persons.
A general relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is admissible under the applicable government rules and policy, communicated through Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011(Part-II), dated 6 March 2025.
Any attempt at canvassing will render a candidate liable to disqualification. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at any stage, and candidates will have no right to challenge such changes. Only eligible or shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview.
The vacancies are purely temporary and will become permanent after completion of the probation period under the Sindh Services (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
