Karachi Port Trust Tender B-12 for Civil Works

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites electronic bids for civil works under Tender B-12. The procurement will be conducted through E-PADS version 2.0 under Rule 27(b) of the Public Procurement Rules.

Participating contractors must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration with the relevant CE-10 specialization. Bidders must submit their registration and supporting documents with their bids, including certified copies of NTN and Sindh Revenue Board registration, evidence of inclusion in the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayer List, a valid PEC registration certificate, and supporting certificates for work undertaken for KPT or other government organizations.

A PKR 500 e-stamp undertaking is required concerning the firm's blacklisting status and litigation with KPT or other government organizations. Bids must remain valid for 90 days, and the bid security must remain valid for at least 30 days beyond the bid-validity period.

The tender fee and bid security must be furnished separately in favour of Chairman, Karachi Port Trust. The original payment instruments and supporting documents must reach the Chief Engineer's office within the stipulated submission period, alongside the electronic submission through E-PADS.

Only bidders registered on E-PADS may participate. Electronic bids will be opened at the scheduled time in the office of the Chief Engineer, KPT, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend.

KPT reserves the right to reject bids before acceptance in accordance with the applicable procurement rules. Requests for clarification should be directed to the issuing office during the tender period.
