Peshawar Cantonment Board Slaughter Fee Collection Auction for 2026–2029

Peshawar Cantonment Board invites bids through a public auction for the slaughter fee collection contract at its slaughterhouse. The contract will run for three years, from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2029.

The auction will be held at the Cantonment Board office on 16 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. If the auction is postponed, it will be held on 17 November 2026 or 18 November 2026.

Each bidder must submit a call deposit of Rs. 1,500,000 in favour of Peshawar Cantonment Board before participating. Call deposits will be verified with the issuing banks. The deposits of the highest and second-highest bidders will be retained during the award process.

The successful bidder must deposit one-quarter of the bid amount as security. The conditions include a 14-day period for the required payment. Failure to fulfil the payment requirements may result in forfeiture of the deposit and consideration of the second-highest bidder.

The contract amount will increase by 10% annually. The successful contractor must enter into an agreement with Peshawar Cantonment Board and comply with the contract conditions throughout the three-year term.

Monthly instalments must be paid by the 5th of each month. Late payment carries a penalty of Rs. 500 per day. A delay exceeding ten days may lead to cancellation of the contract and forfeiture of the security deposit.

The contractor must comply with the slaughterhouse operating requirements, maintain cleanliness, and pay applicable taxes and other contractual charges. The slaughterhouse may be used only for the approved purpose, and the contractor must follow instructions issued by the Cantonment Board.

The award is subject to approval by the competent authority. Peshawar Cantonment Board reserves the right to reject bids under Rule 33(1) of the Public Procurement Rules, 2004. Matters requiring higher approval will be referred to the Director Military Lands and Cantonments.
