Gilgit-Baltistan Health Department Doctor Jobs 2026 in District Nagar

The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, Health Department invites applications from eligible doctors for fixed-pay appointments under the development scheme “SPS Posts (Technical & Specialized Staff) for District Nagar.” Recruitment will be conducted through scheduled interviews.

Application procedure: Interested candidates meeting the required qualification must submit their applications with one set of attested photocopies of all relevant documents, including domicile, CNIC, academic certificates, experience certificates and valid permanent registration with PM&DC. Applications must include an active mobile phone number and reach the Office of the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan, New Secretariat, Jutial, Gilgit, by 11 November 2026 during office hours. Candidates who fail to submit attested copies of all relevant documents by the deadline will not be considered for interview.

Shortlisting and interview: The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on 12 November 2026. Walk-in interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held on 16 November 2026 at the Office of the Secretary Health Gilgit-Baltistan. If a public holiday falls on the interview date, the schedule will be revised and candidates will be informed.

Terms and conditions: Regular and contract doctors serving with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan may apply through the proper channel. Appointments will be purely on a fixed-pay, temporary basis. Unless an extension is granted, the contract will terminate automatically upon expiry of its term. Candidates will have no right to claim regularization of their services before any forum or court of law. The Health Department reserves the right to cancel recruitment of any or all candidates without assigning a reason. No TA/DA will be admissible.
