Swat Police Absence Notice for Constable Abdul Rahman No. 221

The Superintendent of Police, Investigation, Swat, has issued an absence notice to Constable Abdul Rahman, No. 221, son of Fazal Hadi, resident of Sail Banda, Babozai Tehsil, Swat District, serving with Police Investigation, Swat.

The constable departed on leave on 19 May 2026 and was required to resume duty on 4 August 2026. His continued absence led to departmental proceedings. DSP Sharif Johar, Headquarters Investigation, Swat, was appointed as the inquiry officer.

During the inquiry, the statement of the constable's father, Fazal Hadi, was recorded. He did not present a clear justification for his son's absence. The final show-cause notice required the constable to explain his absence under the applicable law and policy within seven days, but he neither submitted a satisfactory response nor attended to explain his position.

Constable Abdul Rahman is now given a final opportunity to report to his government office within seven days of publication of this notice and ensure his attendance. Otherwise, unilateral departmental disciplinary action will be taken under the applicable rules, which may include dismissal from service.
