GEPCO Power Transformer E-Auction on 26 November 2026

Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited (GEPCO) invites electronic bids through E-PADS version 2.0 for the disposal of seven unserviceable power transformers on an “as is, where is” basis. The online auction will be held on 26 November 2026 (Thursday) at 11:00 AM.

Inspection: The transformers may be inspected at their respective 132 kV and 66 kV grid stations during working hours before the auction date. For the transformers under the custody of the Deputy Manager SS&T/L, GEPCO Division Gujrat—Mangowal, Kharian, Malikwal and Head Marala—contact 0318-3992756. For those under the custody of the Deputy Manager SS&T/L, GEPCO Division Gujranwala—Pasrur, Qila Didar Singh and Wazirabad—contact 0318-3992551.

Excluded items: Transformer oil and the 132 kV bushings of the above transformers are not included in the auction.

Earnest money and submission: Participating bidders must submit the applicable earnest money as a bank guarantee or pay order on or before 26 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. For transformers belonging to Gujrat Division, the instrument must be in the name of the Executive Engineer SS&T/L Division Gujrat. For transformers belonging to Gujranwala Division, it must be in the name of the Executive Engineer SS&T/L GEPCO GRW. Bank guarantees or pay orders must be submitted in original at the office of Manager (MM), GEPCO Limited, Gujranwala.

Bid rates and payment: Bidders must quote rates exclusive of all taxes. The remaining amount, together with all government taxes on the total amount, must be paid within 21 working days from issuance of the Letter of Acceptance following approval by the competent authority. Failure to pay within this period will result in cancellation of the auction and automatic forfeiture of the first installment deposited as earnest money.
