Issuer: Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The SECP invites applications for one Islamabad-based position of Director, Mergers & Restructuring Department on an open-merit basis.

| Qualification | Master’s / Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Accounting/Finance or Law from an HEC-recognized reputable university/institute OR qualified CA/ICMA/ACCA. |
| Post-Qualification Experience | At least 15 years of demonstrable post-qualification experience in corporate finance / corporate and financial restructuring, with preferably 3 years hands-on experience of managing financial/legal transactions of mergers, amalgamations and other schemes of arrangement under company law. For qualified Chartered Accountants, CA articleship will be considered part of the requisite experience. |
| Nature of Employment | Contractual appointment for a term of three (3) years, extendable based on organizational need and performance. The Commission may regularize the position after completion of three (3) years. |
| Age Limit | Maximum age should not exceed 50 years as of the closing date of submission of the application. |
| Affirmative Encouragement | Applications are encouraged from female candidates, minorities, persons with special abilities, and candidates from Balochistan, ex-FATA districts, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). |
| Selection & Shortlisting | Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment. Selection will be based on a multi-stage evaluation process. The SECP reserves the right to cancel the recruitment and selection process at any stage. |
